Salome Chomba China Musakanya is a singer and song writer who was born and raised on the Copperbelt. Growing up in Christian home, music has always been a part of her life even though she was more inclined to playing instruments in church (drums). She then joined her secondary school choir where she began to explore her vocal abilities and that’s where the real singing began. She recorded her first single in 2009 which only went as far as family’s ears.
In her first few years of her music journey she has backed/worked with artists such as Mirriam Chama (VOW), Zile, Chileshe Bwalya, Ziyase, Mag44, Pompi, Abel Chungu, Seya, Ali Cross.
Her message through her songs is that God cares about every aspect of our being, He desires to be a part of our lives and therefore, anyone and everyone can have a relationship with Him despite our short comings.
