Renowned Bongo Flava artist and son of the prominent Arusha preacher Dr. GeorDavie, Nic Davie, popularly known as Nisher and a celebrated director of Bongo Flava music videos, passed away on the night of December 12, 2023, at eight minutes past midnight.

The GeorDavie family confirmed the sad news, expressing profound sadness and announced that the funeral will take place at the Matamko House in Kisongo, Arusha. Further details about funeral arrangements will be provided later.

The news of Nisher’s demise was also shared on his father’s Instagram page, adding that his loss is a major blow to the music and video industry in the country, where he had earned significant respect for his outstanding and unique work.
Additionally, the official statement from the FAMILIA YA NABII MKUU MHE. DKT. GEORDAVIE informs that the funeral for their beloved son Nic Davie (Nisher) will take place on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Matamko House, Kisongo, Arusha, Tanzania, starting at 4:00 AM.
