Jux, born Juma Mussa Mkambala on September 1, 1989, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is a prominent Tanzanian artist and songwriter. He is renowned for his contributions to the Bongo Flava, Afropop, and R&B genres.
Early Life and Career
Jux began his musical journey in 2011, initially gaining recognition with his debut single “Nitasubiri.” Over the years, he has released several hit songs, including “Enjoy,” “Fashion Killer,” “Sugua,” “Juu,” and “Nidhibiti.”
Throughout his career, Jux has collaborated with notable artists such as Diamond Platnumz, Vanessa Mdee, Joh Makini, Zuchu, Gyakie, Bien, and Marioo. His music has garnered acclaim both within Tanzania and internationally.
Jux was previously in a high-profile relationship with fellow Tanzanian artist Vanessa Mdee. In August 2024, he became engaged to Nigerian actress Priscilla Ojo.
