Er, linking up is not exactly in the sense you might have in mind. “Weekend Special” is a number by Brenda & The Big Dudes, and the South African disc jockey Shimza has only just released a remix of that tune.
Unlike most DJs -say, Pro-Tee, for instance – Shimza is not heavy on remixing the work of other musicians. But then, when he decides to remix, he usually makes a great job of it.
